1. Scope and purpose of collection, processing and use of personal data
1.1 Collection and processing of data when participating or registering as a viewer/attendee
When you register with the media portal and/or download and use Peak Frequency Life Platform and associated services (“services”), you provide Peak Frequency Life some personal data to create and set up a viewer/attendee account. The scope of information provided by a natural person (not self-employed person) includes the following: email address, name and surname, home address, bank account number or paypal. In case of a natural person (self-employed person) and legal person, the following data is provided: company name, registered office, statutory body, VAT number, bank account number or paypal.
The personal data required for viewing the media portal for information purposes are provided on a voluntary basis. For the purpose of participating on the Peak Frequency Life Platform, using the media portal and services associated with it, provision of valid and accurate data is crucial. Therefore, by registering, you confirm that the personal data provided is valid, complete and accurate and in case of any changes of your personal data, you are required to make the necessary modifications in your viewer/attendee account settings or notify Peak Frequency Life at firstname.lastname@example.org without any delay.
1.2 Collection and processing of registered viewer/attendees’ data
During the use of the media portal and the services associated with it, we collect and process the data of registered viewer/attendees for technical, statistical, research and development reasons, for the purpose of provision of services, to guarantee security and safety of Peak Frequency Life and our viewer/attendees, and for a better understanding of the viewer/attendees’ needs which subsequently enables us to improve our services, to personalize them and to display the data properly to other viewer/attendees. We store the data of registered viewer/attendees for the duration of the purpose of its processing, after this period the data is destroyed.
Besides, in order to improve provided services the media portal and the services may use different technology, which enables Peak Frequency Life to collect certain technical information, for example: your IP address, type of operating system on your computer, internet browser type and addresses of connected sites, other technical and statistical information, Platform and media portal usage information, and similar. The information collected is not personally identifiable and is limited to the minimum information necessary to optimize effectiveness.
2. Data sharing and disclosure
When you use the media portal and the services associated with it as a registered viewer/attendee, you acknowledge that some of your personal data is shared and disclosed to others and may be transferred across international borders to server locations supporting the media portal and services (including but not limited to transfers from those locations back to the country of your registration) for operating and developing the media portal and services, including transfers to Peak Frequency Life’s subcontractors, partners, agents or representatives, who perform tasks related to the media portal and services, or for the purposes of storing the data in the relevant databases. 3. Access to personal data, viewer/attendee account settings
During the use of the media portal and the services associated with it, you are able access all your personal data at any time via viewer/attendee account settings. We advise you to familiarize yourself with the viewer/attendee account settings through which you have a complete control over your personal data. You can check your personal data, correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information and also view the scope of sharing and disclosure of your data.
You can also deactivate your viewer/attendee account by sending email to email@example.com with the request, mainly in case you stopped using the services. Upon deletion of your account, Peak Frequency Life will stop sending you any notifications and emails.
Peak Frequency Life uses several well-established technical and security measures to protect the viewer/attendee’s personal data from being lost, destroyed, or from being accessed by an unauthorized third party. To maximize security, processes involving the collection, processing, and use of personal data are under strict supervision. Furthermore, access to personal data is limited exclusively to the employees of Peak Frequency Life, contract partners, subcontractors and representatives who require access to this data for the purpose of the media portal and service operation, and who are bound by strict conditions of maintaining confidentiality.
With the aim to simplify and improve the viewer/attendee’s experience during the use of the media portal and the services related to it, we use a technology known as “cookies.” Cookies are data files that are automatically saved by your web browser onto your hard-drive whenever you access the media portal. We use this technology for identification and automatic signing in of the registered viewer/attendees.
